Products
All of our products are handcrafted in the naturally rich environment of Tanba Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. The two artisans Ryo Sekino and Yuko Sekino complete every product from start to finish.
In our studio, Ryo Sekino and Yuko Sekino are the only two artisans producing the works, and they mainly hold exhibitions throughout Japan annually. Therefore, during exhibition periods, our online shop may run out of stock. We will announce any restocking on the Instagram accounts of each artist. On our online shop, we have a currency selection button that allows customers from around the world to choose their preferred currency for payment. The base currency is US dollars, so the displayed prices in each country's currency fluctuate daily according to the exchange rate.
All SORTE GLASS products are made using the glassblowing technique. Since the entire process is handmade, each finished product has its own unique character, and there are variations in size. As a characteristic of handmade items, we hope you can appreciate and enjoy the individual differences in each piece.
Care Instructions
For daily care, use mild dishwashing soap and lukewarm water, and a soft sponge or cloth.
Gently wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid rubbing with hard objects as this may cause the gilding to peel off.
If perspiration or oils accumulate, use mild dishwashing soap and lukewarm water with a soft sponge. Ensure to thoroughly dry after washing.
Please remove jewelry before engaging in sports, bathing, or showering.
Like regular jewelry, sorte glass jewelry requires special care.
The glass and metal components are vulnerable to major impacts and repeated shocks, so we recommend avoiding contact with other jewelry.
Also avoid contact with substances that could dull the glass, such as perfumes, lacquers, and detergents.
We recommend not exposing our glasses to sudden high temperatures. First, warm the glass with lukewarm water around 40°C, then pour in your beverage and keep it at a drinkable temperature. Also, avoid using them in refrigerators, ovens, or dishwashers.
We use soda-lime glass, a type of glass used for crafts. As it is not heat-resistant glass, sudden temperature changes can cause it to break.
Please do not use these glasses in microwave ovens, regular ovens, or dishwashers.

For purchases on our online shop, you can use PayPal and choose from credit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

After you complete your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation email to the email address you provided.
Once this order confirmation email is sent, your order is considered finalized.
We do not accept cancellations or changes to your order after this confirmation email is sent, so please understand this in advance.

- The "Order Confirmation" email may be sent a few hours later due to system conditions. If you still do not receive the "Order Confirmation" email after a few hours, consider the following possibilities:
1. It was sorted into your spam/junk folder.
Depending on your email provider, emails from SORTE GLASS may be flagged as "spam."
Please check your spam/junk folder before inquiring.
2. Email size limit imposed by your provider
Your email provider may have a receive size limit, causing a delivery error.

3. Receive rejection setting
Your email client may have a receive rejection setting.

1. Is your email address incorrect?
Please check your registered email address in your account. By correcting the registered address, subsequent orders will be sent to the correct email. If you wish to receive emails for your current purchase, please contact us via the inquiry form regarding your order. (Providing the order date, order number, full name, and phone number will allow us to process your request more smoothly.)
2. Is your receive rejection setting enabled?
Your email system or security software may be set to completely reject emails from our company. For mobile users unable to receive emails from a computer, you may need to allow emails from "info@sorteglass.com" and disable the domain rejection setting.
3. Is the email sorted into your spam folder?
Depending on your email settings, emails from our studio may be filtered into your spam or junk folder. First, please check these folders to see if our emails are there. (Some email services have robust spam filters, and in those cases, we unfortunately cannot prevent our emails from being filtered as spam.)
4. Is your email storage full or exceeding the maximum capacity?
For email services with storage limits, emails may not be received if your mailbox is too full. In this case, you can delete unnecessary or old emails to increase storage capacity and then receive our emails.
Shipping
- After shipping your order, you will receive a "Shipment Complete Email." You can track your package by entering the tracking number on the shipping carrier's website.
If your shipment is delayed, check the tracking number on the shipping carrier's website and contact your nearest shipping center.
- Regular items are typically shipped from our studio within 2-5 business days.
(*Our business days are weekdays excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. We are closed for a special year-end/New Year period.)
- Delivery times after shipping vary depending on your country or region.
We ship products from Japan Post using EMS.
Shipping fees vary depending on your country or region. We charge a flat shipping fee per order based on the destination area:

All SORTE GLASS products are shipped from Japan. Customers are responsible for paying all duties and taxes to the shipping carrier. These fees are not included in your order total.
For international shipping, we use EMS from Japan Post.
Returns & Exchanges
We cannot accept returns or exchanges for items shipped outside of Japan.
While we package orders carefully before shipping, if any damage occurs during transit, please contact the local shipping carrier.
